- as an experienced silverpoint artist, i miss silver wire thicker than 1 mm. i really like to expand my range to 1.5 or 2 mm (i did find it elsewhere eventually).
- 9 ct gold is nice but i bought 24 ct wire (thicker than 1 mm ofcourse, or it would be too soft) and i like it.
- the metal metalpoint holder you sell is nice but: if you use thin or soft wire, and you need a short point, the holder is a bit thick. if you hold it too low you make a mark on the paper, since the holder is metal too. so either a thinner holder or a non-metal layer around it please.
so i wouldn't mind if you would stock more options! (Posted on 08/12/2022)
Silverpoint may be an old technique but the simple way you can build up values so slowly is Great! These materials are great and simple to handle and you can draw like the old masters in no time at all! (Posted on 29/03/2018)
