Schmincke Calligraphy Gouache

As the calligrapher who developed these products with Schmincke (and who does NOT get paid on sales nor has a retainer, so I don't have a vested interest in this!) I cannot recommend this gouache more highly for calligraphers. All paints have excellent coverage and so hide pencil guidelines, they are ground very smoothly, are not greasy or gritty, so that they pass very well through a calligraphy pen, and the pigment concentration has remained high over the years so that the colours are strong and rich.
They can also be diluted so that a more pastel effect can be achieved without the usual problem of ink/paint flow.
The whole set of paints, in its wooden box also contain a useful leaflet on mixing colours and applications of the paints.
