Verdigris ink is transparent and can be layered for a more intense colour. The colour deepens as it dries. Perfect for washes but may be too faint as a calligraphy ink. Be careful to rinse brushes and nibs after use. Verdigris ink is naturally slightly acidic, so it's best to use them on acid-free paper, parchment, or vellum to ensure longevity.
